Meet Dr. Paul Rosenberg: A Journey of Excellence in Plastic Surgery
Dr. Paul Rosenberg’s story is one of dedication, education, and a passion for helping patients achieve their aesthetic goals. As one of the head plastic surgeons at the New Jersey Breast Reduction Center, Dr. Rosenberg brings decades of expertise and a compassionate approach to his practice. A Foundation Built on Education and Achievement
Born in New York City and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Rosenberg built a strong academic foundation early on. He earned both his undergraduate degree in Arts and Sciences and his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 1982 and 1986, respectively. While at Penn, he engaged with prestigious academic societies, including the Philomathean Society for literature and the Agnew Surgical Society, which nurtured his interest in surgery.
Extensive Training and Specialization
Dr. Rosenberg’s path to becoming a leading plastic surgeon included rigorous training and innovative research. He began his medical career with an Internship and General Surgery Residency at North Shore-New York University Hospital in Manhasset, NY. During this time, he devoted a year to research, developing an experimental model for Craniosynostosis, a rare craniofacial disorder.
He further specialized by completing a two-year plastic surgery residency at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in New York City, which included advanced training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. As Chief Resident, Dr. Rosenberg refined his skills in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He also expanded his expertise internationally, training with renowned surgeon Dr. Fernando Ortiz-Monasterio in Mexico City, before focusing on facial and reconstructive procedures in New Jersey.
A Leader in Plastic Surgery
Dr. Rosenberg has made significant contributions to the field, publishing numerous articles and textbook chapters on plastic surgery techniques. As an instructor, he has mentored residents and medical students, emphasizing the importance of precision and patient care.
Board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery since 1997, with re-certification in 2009, Dr. Rosenberg consistently upholds the highest standards in his field.
